25 July       Simon Hopper

Simon Hopper's songs are topical, wordy and intelligent.

They do not pull any political punches and they try their

damnedest to seek a deeper context or reference point

in a quest for understanding. They fearlessly draw upon

instruments and rhythms from outside the accepted can

on.His subject is life, love and loss, where we came from

and where we're going to. He ponders the questions and

sometimes seems to find answers. He plays this gig with

his duo partner Andee Price - a multi-instrumentalist and

singer with folk, jazz and orchestral experience.
